Billie is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, who graduated from Maryville University of St. Louis, Missouri. She has spent 16 years working in the field of psychiatric nursing; working in the community, jail, and inpatient psychiatric unit. Her joy in life is helping others to live their best life. This may be with the use of medication to improve mood or a guide to resources in the community that will help her clients succeed. Whichever the route may be, her goal is for her patients to be educated on their options and find a sense of empowerment through the process. She is dedicated to developing a relationship with each client and understanding their story. Looking at each client as a unique individual helps to tailor the collaborative treatment that will be elicited.
She adores her children and family. Her favorite pastime is laughing loudly. She enjoys playing pranks on her friends and family, telling stories, having long conversations with her two Bengal rescue cats, going to the gym, traveling, and relaxing days of fishing.
