Bio:
Charles is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. He sees clients across the lifespan and has experience treating a wide range of psychiatric illnesses including depression, anxiety, ADHD, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. Charles has been working in the mental health field for over 6 years. He started as a Psychiatric Nurse’s Assistant in a state-run psychiatric hospital in Austin, TX, where he provided care for both civil and forensic clients. While there, Charles quickly discovered his passion for serving those with psychiatric illness and became a Registered Nurse at another inpatient psychiatric hospital in Austin, TX. Charles earned his Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Charles believes in providing individualized, client-centered mental health care. He meets his clients wherever they are with their mental health and works with them to achieve important goals in their lives. Charles views himself as a provider of mental health services and an advocate for mental health awareness. He believes in reducing the stigma surrounding mental health care and making mental health care accessible to all people, regardless of their background.
Charles currently lives in Colorado with his partner and their dog. When he is away from the office, Charles enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, rock climbing, hiking, reading, traveling, and playing and watching soccer.
