Shari Pettit is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with 13 years of experience in the nursing field. Her diverse background includes roles in medical-surgical, emergency department, oncology radiation department, hospice, correctional care, substance abuse, geriatric psychiatry department, and mental health crisis unit settings. Preceding her nursing career, she dedicated 7 years in the healthcare field, providing care for individuals diagnosed with intellectual and developmental deficits with dual diagnoses.
Originating from what some might describe as a less privileged area of her community, Shari has cultivated an empathetic and compassionate perspective for those facing challenges, holding no space for judgment.
