FAQ

What is medication management?

This includes evaluating the effectiveness of your current medications, making adjustments as needed, and addressing any side effects. It is different from talk therapy and focuses on the medical aspects of mental health treatment.

What is the difference between medication management and talk therapy?

Medication management focuses on the medical aspects of mental health treatment, including prescribing and monitoring medications. Talk therapy, on the other hand, involves working with a therapist to address emotional and psychological issues through conversation and therapeutic techniques. Some patients may benefit from a combination of both approaches.
