Mikiyas Hailemichael

Bio:

Mikiyas (Mike) Hailemichael is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a doctorate in nursing practice and extensive experience in outpatient care, remote monitoring, and higher education. He provides thoughtful, individualized treatment plans that integrate medication management, psychoeducation, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Mike specializes in treating adolescents through older adults, supporting individuals with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and other mental health needs.

Outside of clinical care, Mike is passionate about teaching future nurses and has served as a didactic and clinical instructor at several respected institutions. He values evidence-based care, cultural sensitivity, and empowering patients through education. In his personal time, he enjoys staying active, connecting with family, and exploring new ideas that enhance well-being. His goal is to make mental health care accessible, compassionate, and effective for all.
