What is Mile High Psychiatry?
With diagnosis, therapy, and medication management, Mile High Psychiatry is a mental health clinic offering telehealth and In-Office services to optimize your mental health. Our compassionate team of providers are dedicated to empowering patients through offering comprehensive solutions to your most pressing mental health conditions.
Is Mile High Psychiatry for me?
Mile High Psychiatry is for people of all ages searching for high-quality and in-network mental health care. We offer evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment all from the safety of your home.
Will I be able to talk to my provider?
Patients can request an appointment with their provider online at any time, or request an appointment over the phone during regular business hours. You can also message your provider directly through our patient portal.
Are appointments in-person or conducted via telepsychiatry?
Currently Mile High Psychiatry offers flexible telepsychiatry appointments allowing you to receive superior mental health treatment from the comfort of your home.
Will I still be able to be treated if I live in a remote area?
Yes! No matter if you are in the city, suburbs, or somewhere a bit more rural, you are eligible to be treated by Mile High Psychiatry. Our team of providers is ready to offer you comprehensive whole health care from the comfort of your home.
What should I expect during my first visit?
Your first visit will last thirty to sixty minutes and you will work together with your provider to establish the structure of your treatment.
Is Mile High Psychiatry only in Colorado?
Mile High Psychiatry is currently only seeing patients in Colorado, but we are planning on expanding into multiple states across the US!
How often will I see my Provider?
Your provider will work with you to create a customized plan of care that will include a treatment structure based on your circumstances. If you are to undertake psychotherapy, weekly fifty minute sessions will provide the best results.
Do I need a referral to join Mile High Psychiatry?
You don’t need to have a referral to request an appointment with Mile High Psychiatry.
Can I request a different provider if I don’t connect with my current one?
Yes! We want to make sure you feel comfortable with your provider, and we will work with you to get your care transferred to another one of our trusted providers or refer you to other mental health professionals.
What conditions does Mile High Psychiatry treat?
Mile High Psychiatry treats many conditions, including but not limited to ADHD, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorders, Depression, and OCD.
When are providers available?
Our provider’s hours of operation are: Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Do you provide therapy?

Will you work with my previous care provider?
Yes! We would love to work with your current or past providers to ensure we help you become the best you.
What if I want to take a break from treatment?
You are able to cancel or pause treatment at any point. Your provider will inform you of the risks of canceling/discontinuing treatment and provide you with resources to help transition out of care. If you decide to take a break without letting us know, our team will continue to reach out to you for up to 90 days to make sure you are okay.
Will Mile High Psychiatry give me a second opinion?
Getting the right diagnosis is essential to your treatment and our team of providers is happy to review your past assessments and offer treatment for multiple diagnoses.
Can I get appointment reminders?
Yes! We offer text message, phone call, and email reminders. It is completely up to you how you will receive these reminders and can change your preferred method at any time.
How is my privacy protected?
At Mile High Psychiatry, privacy is extremely important. We are bound by law to protect your confidentiality. Any disclosure of your treatment to others will require your explicit written consent. We are required to follow the regulations set forth by HIPAA.
Insurance & Payment
Do I need insurance to schedule an appointment?
No! Mile High Psychiatry accepts personal checks, cash, credit or debit cards and money orders as payment for services.
Can I use insurance?
Yes! Mile High Psychiatry will provide you with a paper “super bill” that can be submitted to your insurance company for the possibility of reimbursement. Many insurance companies have limitations on the number/frequency of visits and types of medications and Mile High Psychiatry will work with you to provide information about your diagnosis, history and treatment plan to your insurance company.
Do you accept my insurance?
We currently accept various insurance policies. We encourage all of our clients to contact your insurance company prior to your visit to confirm active coverage. Please visit our state pages to view a full list of what plans we accept in your state.

How much do appointments cost?
For a thirty to sixty minute initial evaluation for medication management, our standard fee is $285.00. Our fee for therapy appointments is $100.00 – $110.00. Follow-up visits will last up to thirty minutes and will cost $175.00 – $225.00 depending on the complexity of your visit. These prices do not include any additional add-ons such as psychotherapy, coordination of care, etc…
Other miscellaneous services such as completing forms, telephone correspondence, prior authorizations, court hearings, the transfer of medical records, etc., of which require more than ten minutes of time may cost from $30.00- $50.00. Fees may be subject to change.
How do payments work?
Payments will be paid at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made. Mile High Psychiatry accepts personal checks, cash, credit or debit cards, and money orders as payment for services. If a payment is 90 days past due, we reserve the right to utilize legal resources such as collection agencies or small claims courts in order to obtain payment for our services.
Is there a cancellation fee?
We require at least 24 hour notice for cancellations and appointment rescheduling (weekends not included). Cancellations that occur with less than 24 hour notice or failure to show up to an appointment will result in a charge of up to a maximum of $75 for medication management services and up to $100 for therapy services. Payment for the cancellation fee must be paid before rescheduling the next appointment.
