Mental Health Insurance Coverage Made Simple
At Mile High Psychiatry, we accept many major insurance plans and offer self-pay options. We know insurance can be confusing and we’re here to help you understand your benefits and what to expect.
Are We In-Network With Your Insurance?
We are in-network with many plans through:
- Aetna
- Cigna
- UnitedHealthcare
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Humana
- Kaiser Permanente
- Anthem
- Colorado Medicaid
What if We're Out-of-Network?
- If your insurance isn’t listed above, we may still be able to help:
- We can provide a “superbill” which is a detailed receipt you can submit for possible reimbursement.
- Colorado allows many out-of-network services to be reimbursed through your insurance plan’s out-of-network benefits.
- Contact your insurer to ask about mental health coverage for out-of-network providers.
Before Your First Visit
To avoid surprises, we recommend:
- Verifying your coverage directly with your insurance provider.
- Asking about:
- Mental health/psychiatry coverage
- Copays and deductibles
- Coverage for virtual (telehealth) appointments

Medicaid Eligibility Updates
Colorado is returning to normal renewal processes for Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid program) and Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+). Check your email, mail, and PEAK inbox and take action when you get official messages. You can see your renewal date in PEAK at CO.gov/PEAK at any time. If you receive a renewal packet, make sure you fill it out, sign it, and return it by the due date. Learn more about renewals visit hfcgo.com/renewals.
