Bio:

Breanna Katz, LCSW (she/her/hers) is a licensed psychotherapist and clinical social worker who believes deeply in the power of resilience and the human spirit. Breanna is a passionate believer in every human’s potential to meet and overcome seemingly overwhelming life challenges. Mrs. Katz practices a humanistic approach to therapy, emphasizing tenants such as empathy and nonjudgement. Mrs. Katz considers a collaborative and trusting bond between therapist and client crucial for rewarding and successful therapy. A strong advocate for human welfare, equality and individual dignity, Breanna creates an inviting, genuine therapy space for people of all backgrounds and life stages.

After receiving her B.A. from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina in 2010, Breanna earned her Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Texas in at Arlington (with a concentration in clinical mental health) in 2015. Breanna maintains dual licensure as an LCSW in both Texas and Colorado.

A native of Dallas, TX, and after 30+ years in the Dallas area, Breanna moved to the beautiful state of Colorado in 2021. Breanna enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and two dogs (she is an extreme dog enthusiast). In her free time, Breanna enjoys volunteering at various animal shelters in the area as well as being a mental health advocate for several nonprofits in the area. A passionate lover of film, Breanna enjoys both creating and viewing cinema;. Before her 12+ year in social work, he was a filmmaker and screenwriter. She looks forward to meeting you (either virtually or in-person) to assist with your therapeutic needs!
