Bio:
Brittany Rideaux PMHNP hails from Oklahoma City. She started her career in the nursing field 16 years ago and began as a medical assistant. Brittany later became a CNA, and then a registered nurse. She worked in both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health for many years before becoming a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Brittany enjoys spending time with her family and has an 18-year-old step son who is in college, a daughter headed to college next year, a three-year-old son, and a 1-year-old daughter. Brittany loves caring for others as it is one of her passions in life.
Her focus includes survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, individuals within the justice system, women, men, parents, caregivers, and those in rural settings. Rideaux possesses extensive expertise across a spectrum of mental health specialties such as attention disorders, trauma/PTSD, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, OCD, substance abuse, conduct disorders, anxiety, neurodevelopmental disorders, eating disorders, and dissociative disorders.
