Bio:

Joycy Pranabdev is a dedicated and board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 22 years of experience in the nursing field. Known for her caring demeanor, hardworking attitude, and ability to establish strong client relationships, she is passionate about providing exceptional patient care across the lifespan and diverse psychiatric populations.

Throughout her career, Joycy has served in various roles, including working with patients with multiple disorders, geriatric psychiatric patients, and in mental health crisis unit settings. Currently, she provides comprehensive care for patients diagnosed with substance use disorders, dual diagnoses, suicidal and homicidal ideations, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and more. Her journey as a healthcare professional has been marked by a commitment to continuous learning and growth. As a collaborative and motivational leader, she has successfully trained new nursing staff and fostered a supportive team environment. Additionally, her academic pursuits as a nurse practitioner have equipped her with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in complex clinical scenarios. These experiences have honed her diagnostic skills and nurtured a compassionate approach to patient care.

Furthermore, Joycy’s background as a nurse working in hospitals and diverse settings has provided her with firsthand insight into the impact of advanced practice registered nurses on patient outcomes, further enhancing her clinical skills and empathy.

In her recent role as a PMHNP-BC, she consistently provided exceptional care, managing complex cases and advocating for patients’ best interests. Outside of work, Joycy enjoys spending time with her husband, who shares her passion for traveling, engaging in church activities, community involvement, and spending quality time with their children. They have three children, with two in college and one in high school.
