Billing Process
- Initial Consultation: Before your first visit, we will gather your insurance information and discuss payment options.
- Insurance Verification: We will verify your insurance coverage and benefits before your appointments.
- Claims Submission: After each visit, we submit claims to your insurance provider on your behalf.
- Billing Statements: You will receive a billing statement reflecting any remaining balance after insurance has processed the claim.
- Payment Due: Payments are due upon receipt of your billing statement. We offer various payment options for your convenience.
Payment Options
To make the payment process as easy as possible, we offer several payment options:
- Credit/Debit Card: We accept major credit and debit cards
- Online Payments: Pay your bill securely online through our patient portal.
- Checks and Money Orders: We accept personal checks and money orders made payable to Mile High Psychiatry LLC
- Payment Plans: We offer flexible payment plans to accommodate your financial needs.

Our sliding fee scale program is designed to accommodate individuals experiencing financial hardship, ensuring that everyone has access to the care they deserve. We prioritize both your time and care quality. Your appointment is reserved exclusively for you, allowing our professionals to focus entirely on your needs. Missed appointments and late cancellations disrupt our schedules and hinder care access for others.
For appointments that are not cancelled at least 24 hours prior to their scheduled appointment time, MHP may assess no-show fee as described in MHP's Patient Responsibilities.
