Bio:

Kristen Dale, PMHNP-BC, is licensed in the states of Colorado and Texas. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch and her graduate degree from the University of Texas Health and Science Center Houston. Throughout her nursing career, she has worked at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center on the thoracic and cardiovascular surgery unit, Menninger Clinic on the Professionals in Crisis Unit, Neuropsychiatric Center, Harris County Jail, Harris County Psychiatric Center, Heading Health, and has worked providing psychiatric consult services to various nursing homes.

Kristen is trained to see patients of all ages, but most of her experience has been working with adults with various diagnoses, some of which include anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, substance use disorders, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders. Kristen is passionate about gaining further knowledge in the field of psychiatry, so is happy to see all ages and diagnoses.

Kristen uses a holistic approach in treating her patients, so often recommends therapy and encourages physical health in addition to medications. She also encourages patients to be involved in the treatment planning and not be afraid to ask questions or voice concerns. Kristen’s former patients would often compliment her on being “easy to talk to”.

When not working, Kristen enjoys traveling the world with her husband and their 3 children, experiencing new places and cultures, taking road trips, and riding bikes.
