Bio:
Lorraine Victorian-Burks is an experienced, licensed, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in the psychological assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Mrs. Victorian-Burks provides medication management and other evidence-based approaches to treat a wide range of psychological, emotional, and behavioral problems.
Mrs. Victorian-Burks has been in the medical profession for over 15 years. In addition to being a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, she is also a licensed, certified Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner who works in family practice. She has taught as an Adjunct Professor at Texas Woman’s University, teaching Junior 1 nursing students on becoming registered nurses. She is also actively involved in teaching and training future psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners and is currently working in the role as a preceptor for Walden University. She is an alumnus of Texas Woman’s University in Dallas, Texas where she obtained her undergraduate degree and earned a Master of Science degree in Nursing. She also graduated from the University of Cincinnati where she earned her Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health.
Mrs. Victorian-Burks spends her spare time with her husband and 3 children.
